About the Team

The Principal Talent Advisor will join the high-performing Talent Acquisition team at Nutanix.  The team fosters a culture of innovation and excellence, encouraging collaboration and best practices in recruitment. The mission of the team is to attract top-tier talent that aligns with Nutanix's growth and vision in the dynamic software industry, emphasizing a strategic approach to talent acquisition that goes beyond traditional hiring practices.

You will report to the  Director, Talent Acquisition for Technology Americas , who emphasizes a leadership style centered around coaching and support, fostering an environment where team members are empowered to act as talent advisers rather than mere order takers. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with an expectation for the hire to be in the office three days a week, promoting a balance between collaboration and flexibility.
 


Your Role

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for technology roles.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent using Findem, LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
  • Engage in employer branding initiatives to promote company culture and attract potential candidates.
  • Assess candidate qualifications and manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.
  • Adapt to and prioritize recruitment needs across various business functions beyond technology.
  • Achieve a deep understanding of the business and establish relationships with key stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in recruiting, including 5 years recruiting technical roles for a software company.
  • Proficient in sourcing talent using Findem, Linkedin or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology structures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to assess talent and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Experience managing demanding stakeholders and multiple recruitment priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to various business functions.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. Workplace type may vary based on location and team requirements. Please speak with your recruiter for details. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.


The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between CAD $ 148,000 and CAD $ 222,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
